These terms govern your use of Ostuu, a social publishing and scheduling service available at ostuu.com. By creating an account or using Ostuu, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Ostuu lets you create, organize, schedule, and publish content to social networks and other destinations you connect. Features may change, and some capabilities (including publishing to a given network) may be limited, gated, or unavailable. Ostuu is an early-stage product provided as-is.
Accounts
You are responsible for your Ostuu account, including keeping sign-in details secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when you sign up. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you may not use Ostuu if you are not allowed to use the underlying social networks you connect.
If you use Ostuu on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Connected social networks
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and any other network you connect are third-party services. Their terms, policies, API rules, and availability apply in addition to these terms. Ostuu does not control those platforms. You are responsible for connecting only accounts and Pages you are allowed to manage, for complying with each network’s rules, and for any content Ostuu publishes there at your request.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Ostuu (posts, media, captions, brand materials, and similar). You are responsible for that content, including that you have the rights to use it and to publish it on the destinations you select.
You grant Ostuu a limited license to host, process, adapt (for example, formatting or media optimization for a destination), schedule, and transmit your content as needed to operate the service you requested.
Authorization to publish
When you connect a channel and schedule or publish a post, you authorize Ostuu to use stored credentials to publish, update scheduling, and otherwise perform those actions on your behalf on the selected destinations. You can disconnect a channel in Ostuu to stop future publishing to that destination.
Acceptable use
You may not use Ostuu to:
- Violate law, these terms, or a connected platform’s terms
- Infringe others’ rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Harass, abuse, defraud, or impersonate others
- Distribute malware or attempt to disrupt or probe Ostuu or third-party systems
- Bypass usage limits, access controls, or another customer’s workspace
- Upload or publish content you do not have the right to use
Ostuu may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.
Third-party APIs and availability
Publishing and scheduling depend on third-party APIs, your credentials remaining valid, and those platforms remaining available. Networks may reject, delay, or later remove content. Ostuu is not responsible for outages, API changes, rate limits, permission errors, or other failures of third-party services.
Changes, outages, and support
Ostuu may modify, interrupt, or discontinue features. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, or errors. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Termination
You may stop using Ostuu at any time. You may disconnect channels in the product and request deletion of your account and associated stored data as described on the Data deletion page. Ostuu may suspend or terminate the service or your access, including if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the product. After termination, provisions that should survive (including ownership of your content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Ostuu is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Ostuu does not warrant that posts will publish at a specific time, that a connected network will accept your content, or that data will never be lost.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ostuu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from content published to third-party platforms. Ostuu’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Ostuu for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you paid nothing.
Some places do not allow certain disclaimers or limits. In those places, the above applies only as far as the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you continue to use Ostuu after an update, the revised terms apply.
